The hit HBO show Euphoria returned with its third season on April 26, 2026. The latest episode is titled The Ballad of Paladin. This episode focuses on the wedding of Nate Jacobs and Cassie Howard. What starts as a happy day quickly turns into a very violent night. The episode shows a five-year time jump from the previous seasons. All the main actors came back to play their roles. She has one main client named Ellis. Jules feels trapped in this life. But she also finds a strange kind of art in her new job. She attends the wedding as Rue’s guest. Her look at the wedding is one of the most talked about outfits of the night.
Jacob Elordi is back as Nate Jacobs. Nate took over his father’s building business. But he is not honest with his money. He owes a lot of cash to a dangerous man named Naz. Nate marries Cassie in this episode. He looks happy on the outside. But he is very stressed and sick before the ceremony. The episode ends with a very bad moment for Nate. Naz and his helper attack Nate in his own home. They cut off one of his toes as payback.
Sydney Sweeney plays the bride Cassie Howard. Cassie wants a perfect and rich life with Nate. She uses an online site to make money for the big wedding. During the party, she finds out about Nate’s money problems. A guest yells at her about how Nate used her to pay for things. Cassie keeps saying it is the best day of her life. But she is clearly very upset. When Nate gets hurt at home, Cassie screams for help. Her dream day becomes a terrible nightmare.
Alexa Demie returns as Maddy Perez. Maddy is Nate’s ex-girlfriend. She used to be best friends with Cassie. Many fans wanted to see Maddy cause problems at the wedding. But she did not start any fights. She wore a very beautiful green dress. Maddy sat with Rue and Jules during the ceremony. She watched her ex-boyfriend marry her old friend. It was a very sad moment for her character. She stayed calm and did not make a scene.
Maude Apatow plays Lexi Howard. Lexi is Cassie’s younger sister. Unlike most characters on the show, Lexi is doing well. She has a good job as an assistant to a TV showrunner. She gives smart advice to Rue. Lexi tries to help her sister during the wedding. She knows something is wrong. But Cassie does not want to talk about it. Lexi is the calm and clear voice in the middle of all the drama.

Alanna Ubach plays Cassie’s mom, Suze Howard. Paula Marshall plays Nate’s mom, Marsha Jacobs. Darrell Britt-Gibson plays Bishop. He works for Alamo and helps Rue with the job at Laurie’s house.
New Characters In Season 3 Episode 3
The show added many new cast members for the third season. One of the biggest new names is Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. He plays Alamo Brown. Alamo owns a str*p club named the Silver Slipper. He sells drugs and guns. He gives Rue a job. But he gets angry when Rue says she wants to leave the business.
Sam Trammell plays Ellis. He is Jules’s main client. Ellis is a plastic surgeon with a lot of money. He has a God complex. He likes to control Jules. In one very upsetting scene, he wraps Jules in clear plastic. He says he wants to keep her forever.
Jack Topalian plays Naz. He is the Russian loan shark who wants his money from Nate. He shows up at the wedding reception. He later breaks into Nate’s home. He cuts off Nate’s toe with a pair of garden shears. This is the most violent moment of the episode.
Gideon Adlon plays Gillie. Maria Bata plays Nate’s Cousin. Colleen Camp plays a TV director. Madison Thompson plays Oceana. Priscilla Delgado plays Angel. These actors all had smaller parts in the episode but helped make the world feel real.
Guest Stars And Cameos
The episode also had a few special guest stars. Rosalia, the famous singer, plays a dancer named Magick. She wears a neck brace in all her scenes. She performs at Alamo’s club while older men watch her. Sharon Stone has joined the season’s cast as Patty Lance. She is the TV showrunner that Lexi works for. But she did not appear in episode 3. Fans will see her in later episodes.

What Happened In Episode 3
The episode had three main storylines. The first was the wedding of Nate and Cassie. The ceremony was very fancy with many flowers. But everyone felt the tension. Nate owed money to a bad man. Cassie felt like her life was falling apart. After the party, Naz attacked the couple at their home.
