Blueface is facing one of the biggest financial hits of his career. A California judge has ordered the rapper’s music royalties to be redirected to Jackilyn Martinez, the mother of Soulja Boy’s child, to pay off a $123,245 defamation judgment.

The order, granted by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Peter Hernandez, directs all of Blueface’s ASCAP and BMI royalties to be funneled directly to Martinez until the debt is fully satisfied. This means the “Thotiana” rapper’s streaming and performance income is no longer his own.

Blueface’s Net Worth in 2026

As of 2026, Blueface’s net worth is estimated to be between $4 million and $7 million. The rapper, whose real name is Jonathan Michael Porter, built his wealth through viral hits, streaming revenue, live performances, and social media brand deals. However, his career has been marked by legal troubles, incarceration, and lawsuits that continue to eat into his earnings.

Why Are Blueface’s Royalties Being Seized?

The legal battle began in December 2023 when Martinez filed a defamation lawsuit against Blueface. The dispute arose during the rapper’s heated social media feud with Soulja Boy.

On X (formerly Twitter), Blueface escalated the feud by making explicit claims about Martinez. He posted:

“I don’t tell no lies โ€ฆ had [Jackilyn] bent over” and “Tell Soulja get a DNA test that’s my child lil bro I’m the daddy now.”

Martinez denied the allegations in court documents. She stated that she had only had protected sex with Blueface once in 2018 and had no further contact with him after that.

“I did not engage in any sexual activity with Blueface the day before my baby shower, or while I was pregnant. There is zero chance that Blueface is my child’s biological father,” she declared.

The Default Judgment

When Blueface failed to respond to the lawsuit, Martinez was awarded a default judgment in April 2025. The court granted her $123,245.10, which included:

  • $100,000 for pain and suffering
  • $18,000 in special damages
  • $3,070 in attorney fees
  • $2,173 in additional legal costs

The judge declined to award punitive damages, but the debt has now led to the seizure of his music royalties.

Martinez described the emotional toll of Blueface’s statements in her lawsuit, stating she suffered “severe emotional and mental distress, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, crying spells, fear and anger” as well as physical symptoms like insomnia, nausea, and headaches.

Blueface’s Ongoing Legal Troubles

This royalty seizure is just the latest in a series of legal and financial setbacks for Blueface. In August 2024, he was sentenced to four years in prison for violating probation stemming from a 2021 assault case, in which he attacked a security guard at a North Hollywood lounge. He was released in November 2025 after serving approximately 21 months.

Since his release, he has returned to music, dropping the single “Babygirl” featuring Hazel-E, but the financial consequences of his past actions continue to follow him. He still faces over $13 million in other civil suits.

What’s Next?

The redirection of Blueface’s royalties will remain in effect until the $123,245 debt is fully paid off. Meanwhile, Martinez is also pursuing a separate child support case against Soulja Boy for their three-year-old child.
