The latest Bollywood comedy entertainer Welcome To The Jungle, starring Akshay Kumar, has achieved a major box office milestone. The film crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the worldwide box office within just four days of its release on June 26, 2026.
Despite facing a significant drop in collections on its first Monday, the movie managed to maintain steady momentum. According to trade reports, Welcome To The Jungle earned approximately ₹8.50 crore nett in India on Day 4, pushing its total India nett collection to ₹72.25 crore. The film’s India gross collection stands at ₹86.53 crore, while its overseas gross collection has reached ₹19.95 crore. Combined, the worldwide gross collection now stands at ₹106.48 crore.
The film had a strong opening weekend, with collections growing from ₹15.25 crore on Friday to ₹20 crore on Saturday and further to ₹24.75 crore on Sunday. The movie registered an overall occupancy of 41% on Sunday, which was its best performance during the opening weekend.
Akshay Kumar Shares Heartfelt Post For Farida Jalal And Kiran Kumar
Following the film’s success, Akshay Kumar took to social media to express his gratitude towards veteran actors Farida Jalal and Kiran Kumar, who play pivotal roles in the film. He shared a behind-the-scenes picture with the two senior actors and penned an emotional note, giving them credit for the film’s success.

In the film, Farida Jalal plays the character Badi Bi, and her dialogue “Badi bi sahi keh rahi hai” has become a viral meme and one of the major highlights of the comedy. Kiran Kumar, who plays Murad Chacha, also received praise from the actor.
Welcome To The Jungle Continues Strong Box Office Run
On its fifth day (Tuesday), Welcome To The Jungle showed a slight recovery with a 8.8% growth, earning approximately ₹9.25 crore nett in India. The film’s total India nett collection has now reached ₹81.50 crore, while its India gross collection stands at ₹97.17 crore. With an additional ₹3 crore from overseas markets on Day 5, the total overseas gross collection has reached ₹22.95 crore, taking the worldwide gross collection to ₹120.12 crore.
With this collection, the film has already surpassed the lifetime global earnings of the original Welcome movie, which had collected ₹117.91 crore worldwide. The film is now the highest earner in the franchise’s history.
The comedy entertainer features an ensemble cast of over 30 actors, including Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Dutt, and many others. Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala, the film is the third installment in the popular ‘Welcome’ franchise.

The film has been receiving positive responses from audiences, particularly for the performances of Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon, who reunite after two decades. Farida Jalal has also been widely praised for her comic timing and standout performance.
The film’s weekday occupancy figures remain stable, with metro cities like Delhi-NCR and Mumbai showing strong audience interest. The Delhi-NCR region recorded an occupancy of 24.5% across 985 shows, while the Mumbai region registered 21.8% occupancy across 775 shows.
Welcome To The Jungle has also become Akshay Kumar’s sixth consecutive film to cross the ₹100 crore mark worldwide, following the success of Bhooth Bangla, Jolly LLB 3, Housefull 5, Kesari Chapter 2, and Sky Force. The actor’s last film to fail to reach this milestone was Khel Khel Mein in 2024.
