The second season has some staff changes. Riki Fukushima is the new director, taking over from Masahiro Hiraoka. Michiko Yokote is the new script supervisor, replacing Shingo Nagai.
Masahiro Fujii returns as the chief animation director and character designer. Makoto Miyazaki also returns to compose the music. J.C.STAFF is the sole animation production company for the second season, whereas the first season was co-produced with MOE.
