Park Eun-Bin finds herself in an awkward position on the next episode of Spooky in Love. The tvN drama is an occult romance series about a woman who can see ghosts and a prosecutor who is terrified of them. The show is a remake of the 2011 film Spellbound. Paeng Myo Soon has long been curious about her grandson’s love life. She seizes this opportunity to sit down with Cheon Yeo Ri and bombard her with questions. The scene promises to be both tense and comedic as the grandmother conducts her own investigation into the woman who claims to be engaged to her grandson.

The grandmothers are important characters in Spooky in Love. Ye Soo Jung plays Cheon Yeo Ri‘s grandmother Baek Kyung Ja, the chairwoman of a prominent hotel and resort group. She believes strongly in fate and destined connections. She constantly worries that her grandson will end up with someone incompatible.
Paeng Myo Soon is described as a realistic grandmother who never stops nagging her beloved grandson. Her love and concern for Ma Gang Wook will impact the plot in unexpected ways.
Fake Engagement Takes Center Stage in Episode 7
Episode 7 of Spooky in Love aired on August 8 at 9:10 p.m. KST. The episode follows Cheon Yeo Ri and Ma Gang Wook as they try to make their fake engagement look believable.
The couple goes on public dates that incorporate their hobbies. They are seen during an indoor rock climbing date, looking completely relaxed around each other. They also visit an arcade, where they pose for photos together with a stuffed animal. These scenes show how comfortable they have become with each other.
The fake engagement is meant to quash suspicions about their relationship and help Cheon Yeo Ri strengthen her position in the succession battle. However, Kang Min Hwan, who has long harbored feelings for Cheon Yeo Ri, does not react well to this development. He begins to reveal his true colors and show his dark side as he tries to drive the couple apart.
The Mystery Behind Cheon Yeo Ri’s Curse
The drama also explores the mystery behind Cheon Yeo Ri‘s curse. The story started with a yacht accident 12 years ago. After surviving the accident that killed her friend Kang Ji Hwan, Cheon Yeo Ri began seeing ghosts. Anyone she touches also starts seeing ghosts.
In the second half of the drama, the mystery of why Kang Ji Hwan lingers by Cheon Yeo Ri‘s side will be revealed. The hidden reason for her curse will become the crux of the story.
