Reality TV star Farrhana Bhatt has officially put an end to all the rumours about her joining the new season of MTV Roadies. The Bigg Boss 19 runner-up, who is currently seen on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, has confirmed that she will not be a part of Roadies 21 as a gang leader. She also shared that she is taking a break from physically demanding adventure shows after her intense stint on Rohit Shetty’s stunt-based reality show.
For weeks, fans and entertainment portals were buzzing with reports that Farrhana might be the next big name to join the Roadies gang leader panel. However, the actress decided to clear the air herself. Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) account, she posted a statement addressing the speculation.
“A little clarification for everyone who’s been asking me about Roadies. No, I won’t be a Gang Leader on this season of Roadies.”
Why Farrhana Bhatt Decided to Step Back
The decision to skip Roadies 21 did not come from a lack of interest but from a need to rest. Farrhana explained that her time on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 took a heavy toll on her physically and emotionally. She said the show demanded everything she had, and now she needs time to recover.
“I’ve decided to take a small break from physically intense and adventure-based shows after giving everything I had to Khatron Ke Khiladi. Khatron has taken a lot of my energy, strength and emotions, and right now, I feel like I need some time to breathe, recharge and explore other things.”
The actress made it clear that this is not a permanent goodbye to adventure reality shows. She left the door open for future opportunities, saying she is sure there will be another time, another opportunity, and another challenge.
“That doesn’t mean I’m saying no to adventures forever! I’m sure there will be another time, another opportunity and another challenge.”
She also had a message for the new gang leaders and the Roadies team, writing, “Go make it a memorable season!”
Fans Support Farrhana’s Decision
Soon after Farrhana shared her statement, her supporters flooded the comments with messages of love and encouragement. Many fans told her to put her health first and praised her for being honest about her needs.
One fan wrote, “Completely respect your decision, Hana. You’ve given your all to Khatron and you deserve this time to breathe, recharge and explore everything beyond adventure shows.”
Another commented, “Your health is our first priority. Take care of yourself.”
A follower also said, “Good decision hana. plz focus on acting projects… that show is controversial…its better to focus on acting auditions and all.”

Roadies 21 Gang Leaders Lineup Takes Shape
With Farrhana Bhatt out of the picture, the makers of Roadies 21, also titled Roadies: Rebirth, have moved forward with a new lineup of gang leaders. According to multiple reports and viral clips, the season will feature six gang leaders split into two groups: returning veterans and new faces.
The returning gang leaders include Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia, and Nikhil Chinapa. Joining them as the new generation of gang leaders are YouTuber Abhishek Malhan (also known as Fukra Insaan), Baseer Ali, and VJ Bani. Reports suggest that VJ Bani was brought in after Farrhana Bhatt turned down the offer.
The season is being promoted around the theme of “Old Gang Leaders vs New Gang Leaders,” setting the stage for a clash of strategies and leadership styles. Rannvijay Singha is also returning as the host, marking his comeback to the MTV Roadies franchise. Auditions for the show are expected to take place in major cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, and Pune during September 2026.
