KBS2’s new realistic romance drama “A Love Other Than Yours” premieres tonight, September 12, at 9:20 p.m. KST, and the starring cast has a clear message for viewers: this story is for anyone who has ever questioned their relationship, their life direction, or themselves.

“I think people in long-term relationships will relate a lot [to our drama],” he said. “This drama is a story about facing yourself and growing through love and encounters with other people.”
He added that the show speaks to people who need a self-esteem boost, those overwhelmed by life, and even those who feel happy overall but still sense emptiness inside.
Namgoong Ho works as an assistant manager at Hunmin Confectionery and has always imagined a future with his girlfriend. His certainty begins to shake as he notices changes in their relationship.
Ahn Eun Jin Recommends the Drama for Anyone Questioning Their Relationship Direction
Ahn Eun Jin plays Lee Mi Do, a film director chasing her dream while facing harsh realities. Her character is torn between a stable but familiar love and new feelings that emerge during a difficult career period.
“By seeing various forms of love [in the drama], you’ll be able to feel both the preciousness of the person next to you and the anticipation of meeting someone new,” she said.
Ahn Eun Jin specifically recommended the drama to anyone who has questioned whether their current relationship is heading in the right direction. She described it as a show to open when you wonder, “Is this relationship going the right way?”

Lee Joo Ahn, who plays Han Tae Seung, a lawyer at Jaekang Law Firm, focused on the broader human experience beyond romance. He described his character’s understanding of love as something elusive, like something you cannot find even in a dream.
“Regardless of age, everyone has their own major worries. I hope that instead of suffering alone, you will watch our drama with the feeling of conversing with our characters,” Lee Joo Ahn said.
