Henry Cavill is stepping back into the world of espionage, and the first images from the set of his upcoming Netflix movie with Kevin Hart show him looking every bit the suave secret agent. The untitled spy action-comedy, which has been filming in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, recently offered fans a peek at the two leads in character, highlighting the wildly different worlds their roles occupy.
The former Superman star was photographed seated on a red Triumph motorcycle, dressed in an all-black outfit complete with a suede jacket. Meanwhile, Hart was spotted in a far more relaxed look, wearing a Joy Division t-shirt, plaid pajama pants, and slides with socks. Production on the untitled spy movie began in late August and is scheduled to run through November. The shoot has taken place in multiple locations across New Jersey, including Glen Ridge. An interesting detail emerged from the set: chairs reportedly bore the title “The Serpent and the Snake” along with a graphic of two spies with guns drawn. Netflix has not confirmed whether this is the actual title or simply a working name, as the production had previously been tracked under the placeholder “Spy Duo.”
Cavill moved directly into filming this project after wrapping Highlander, the reboot directed by Chad Stahelski, which also stars Russell Crowe, Dave Bautista, and Karen Gillan. That fantasy epic is now in post-production.
