Some netizens questioned the accuracy of her claims, citing discrepancies in her statement and the actual financial requirements for a French student visa. Han later clarified her journey, emphasizing that her decision was influenced by the practical challenges of art school entrance exams in Korea and the financial burden of studying abroad.
“I initially dreamed of attending Central Saint Martins or Parsons, but their tuition costs were prohibitively high. I eventually chose Beaux-Arts, but since I wasn’t attending a local university, I couldn’t secure a loan,” she added.
