The Story Behind the Kiss

To make herself a more appealing candidate, Da-rim lies during her interview and claims she is a married mother. Her plan works, and she is hired onto Ji-hyeok’s team. However, her simple lie quickly becomes complicated when she impulsively kisses her team leader, sparking office gossip and confusion. Ji-hyeok is left conflicted, believing he has feelings for a married woman, while Da-rim struggles with her growing emotions for him and the web of lies she has created.
Meet the Cast and Characters
The series features a cast of familiar Korean actors. Leading the story is Jang Ki-yong as Gong Ji-hyeok, the no-nonsense team leader. He is joined by Ahn Eun-jin as the determined but secretive Go Da-rim.
The supporting cast includes Kim Mu-jun as Kim Sun-woo, who plays the role of Da-rim’s fake husband to help her maintain her lie. Woo Da-vi appears as Yoo Ha-young, adding another layer to the office dynamics.
