The second season of the hit series Fallout is set to premiere on December 17, 2025 on Prime Video. The story continues directly from the explosive first season finale, following the journey of its main characters into the Mojave Wasteland towards the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. The first episode of the new season will feature a mix of returning stars and new additions to the cast.
The Main Cast Members Returning
The core trio of characters from the first season will all return for the new season, continuing their interconnected stories in the wasteland.

Walton Goggins returns in his dual role as the menacing The Ghoul and the pre-war movie star Cooper Howard. As a ghoulified bounty hunter who has survived for over 200 years, his character carries a deep and mysterious past that is expected to be explored further in the new season.
Aaron Moten reprises his role as Maximus, a soldier in the militaristic Brotherhood of Steel. The first season saw him rise in the ranks after acquiring a powerful piece of technology, positioning him as a key figure for the Brotherhood’s future operations.
Other returning main cast members include Kyle MacLachlan as Hank MacLean, Lucy’s father and a former Vault-Tec executive, and Moisรฉs Arias as Norm MacLean, Lucy’s brother who uncovered secrets within Vault 33.
New and Recurring Characters
The expansion into the New Vegas area introduces new faces and factions familiar to players of the Fallout games.
A major new addition to the cast is Justin Theroux, who will portray Robert Edwin House, the brilliant and enigmatic CEO of RobCo Industries and the ruler of the New Vegas Strip. The character is a central figure from the Fallout: New Vegas video game.
Macaulay Culkin has also joined the cast in a recurring role. While his character’s name is not yet officially confirmed, reports describe him as playing a “crazy genius”-type character.
