Taehyung’s Role as TIRTIR’s Global Ambassador
This interview follows a series of high-profile events marking the start of Taehyung’s official partnership with TIRTIR. The brand confirmed him as its first global ambassador in November.
His first public appearance for the brand was a major event in Los Angeles. On November 14, Taehyung arrived for TIRTIR’s pre-launch pop-up for the “V&YOU: Letโs Radiate” campaign. The event was open to the public from November 15 to 23 at a venue on Melrose Avenue. For his arrival, he made a stylish entrance stepping out of a Mercedes-Maybach, wearing a tan suit, layered gold chains, and a signature leopard-print scarf.
The global campaign continued with another impressive showcase in Dubai. On November 22, TIRTIR celebrated his ambassadorship with a light show on the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. This was Taehyung’s third time being featured on the iconic tower, with previous displays organized by fanbases to celebrate his songs “Inner Child” and “Winter Bear”. The Dubai activation also included a 10-day pop-up event starting November 21.
The brand has centered its campaign around Taehyung, producing special catalogs and magazines for the events featuring him on the cover.
