HYBE, the South Korean entertainment company, has reportedly asked Min Hee Jin, the CEO of Ador, to step down. This news comes amidst reports of a fallout between the two parties.
On April 22, HYBE confirmed to Xports News that they had initiated an audit on Min Hee Jin and Ador’s board of directors. “It is true that we have invoked our right to auditing (Ador executives),” HYBE stated. This announcement came just hours after it was reported that HYBE had asked Min Hee Jin to step down.
The fallout may have been sparked by Min Hee Jin’s alleged attempt to leave HYBE and take Ador with her. This has led to a power struggle within the company, with HYBE launching an audit against Min Hee Jin and the current board of management.
Min Hee Jin has since released an interview where she blames HYBE for the feud. She cites the plagiarism of NewJeans by ILLIT, another group under HYBE, as a reason for her stepping up against HYBE. She claims that ILLIT’s copying of NewJeans was not carried out by BeLift Lab alone as a label, but is something that concerns HYBE as well.
This ongoing controversy has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. As the situation continues to unfold, fans and industry insiders alike are eagerly awaiting further updates. Stay tuned for more information as this story develops.
