Evan Peters is returning as his Season 5 character, James Patrick March. Billie Lourd returns as Mallory from Season 8. John Carroll Lynch and Mat Fraser are reprising their Freak Show characters, Twisty the Clown and Paul the Illustrated Seal.
Jessica Lange makes her long-awaited return to the franchise. She last appeared in Season 8: Apocalypse and has not been seen in the series since. Her return was confirmed through Ryan Murphy Productions’ Instagram account with the caption: “American Horror Story, Season 13. Day One. The return of Jessica Lange!”.
Other returning cast members include Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Mena Suvari, Matt Fraser, and Berto Colón.
