Blue Lock readers are waiting for the next chapter after a major cliffhanger in the Japan vs England match. Chapter 361 ended with Yoichi Isagi deciding to go after England’s manager, Fox, instead of trying to beat the players one by one. The manga is now on a scheduled break, and Chapter 362 will arrive later in September 2026.

What Happened in Blue Lock Chapter 361
Chapter 361, titled “Feelings of Incompetence,” focused heavily on the mental battle between Isagi and England’s Teddy Knight. England had taken control of the scoreboard, and Teddy used the moment to explain why the England players were willing to give up their individual pride for Fox’s system.
Teddy explained that not every player has the skill to succeed alone. Most players, he said, must accept their limits and follow a stronger leader if they want to win the World Cup. A striking visual showed a knight stabbing himself, representing how the England players sacrificed their own goals for the team’s system.
Japan tried to fight back in the second half. Shido pushed forward, and Yukimiya attempted a one-on-one dribble, but England’s defense blocked every move. The England players moved as one unit, following Fox’s orders without hesitation.
By the end of the chapter, Isagi reached a major realization. Trying to defeat every England player was pointless because Fox was the one controlling everything from the sidelines. Isagi decided to target Fox’s system itself. The chapter ended with a powerful panel showing puzzle pieces surrounding Isagi as he committed to going after the manager.
What to Expect from Blue Lock Chapter 362
Chapter 362 is expected to pick up right where Isagi left off. The chapter will likely show how Isagi plans to dismantle Fox’s tactical setup in practical terms. Japan is still behind on the scoreboard, and the match is entering its most intense phase.
Fox’s strategy has turned England into a team with almost no individual ego. Every player follows orders, which makes them extremely hard to break down. Isagi’s new approach means he will try to disrupt the source of those orders rather than fighting the players directly.
The break gives readers time to think about how Isagi’s strategy will work. The clash between Isagi’s instincts and Fox’s methods is the central conflict of this part of the U-20 World Cup arc.
