Seventeen’s subunit BSS—comprising DK, Hoshi, and Seungkwan—is officially preparing for their long-awaited comeback. According to a Sports Donga report on November 18, the trio recently wrapped up filming the music video for their upcoming song at a location in Seoul.
First Comeback Since “Second Wind”
This marks BSS’s first release in almost two years, following their debut single album Second Wind, released in February 2023. The album featured the hit title track “Fighting”, a lively collaboration with Lee Young Ji that gained immense popularity. The song’s success firmly established BSS as a standout unit within Seventeen.
Despite their busy schedules as part of Seventeen’s group activities, the members have been working on new songs during their downtime. Reports indicate that the group is in the final stages of planning their comeback schedule.
Bright and Energetic Style
BSS, short for BooSeokSoon, derives its name from the real names of the members: DK (Lee Seok Min), Hoshi (Kwon Soon Young), and Seungkwan (Boo Seung Kwan). Known for their cheerful and vibrant performances, the unit first debuted with the track “Just Do It” during Seventeen’s fan meeting, Seventeen in Carat Land, in March 2018.
Their energetic and uplifting music, exemplified by the viral hit “Fighting”, has earned them a reputation as icons of cheer songs, blending entertainment with relatable themes.
Seventeen’s Current Activities
While preparing for their comeback, BSS’s members continue to participate in Seventeen’s ‘Right Here’ World Tour, which includes stops in North America, Asia, and Japan’s four major dome venues.
Fans eagerly await further announcements regarding the comeback, as excitement grows for BSS’s return to the music scene.
