The Boy in the Last Row: A Story of Mentorship
“The Boy in the Last Row” features Choi Hyun Wook and Choi Min Shik. This drama is an adaptation of Juan Mayorga’s Spanish play. Kim Kyu Tae will direct the six-part series. Filming begins in April 2025, with plans to release it on Netflix in 2026.
The story focuses on Mun O, a novelist and professor. He has only one published book and struggles with his writing career. A past critique from a classmate still bothers him. He teaches at a respected school but feels disappointed with his students.
Everything changes when he reads a student’s writing, Lee Gang. Impressed by Lee Gang’s work, Mun O decides to mentor him. As Mun O reads more of Lee Gang’s writing, he finds himself in surprising and life-changing situations.
Field Mouse: A Thriller Webtoon Adaptation
“Field Mouse” is a thriller based on a popular webtoon by Ludvico. Kim Hong Seon will direct the Netflix Original K-drama. Sul Kyung Gu stars as No Ja, and Ryu Jun Yeol plays Je Mun Jae. Ryu Jun Yeol is known for his roles in “The 8 Show,” “Lost,” “Lucky Romance,” and “Reply 1988.”
Filming for “Field Mouse” will begin in mid-April 2025 and continue until November. With a long production schedule, the show is expected to premiere on Netflix in the latter half of 2026. Fans of thrillers and webtoon adaptations can look forward to this show.
