Hey everyone! Did you know that BTS V (Kim Tae-hyung), has been serving in the military for 100 days now? That’s right, to serve their country, all South Korean men have to spend some time in the military when they grow up.

To celebrate this special milestone, a group of BTS V fans did something really cool! A fan group called “Kim Tae Hyung Support Korea” wanted to show their appreciation for V and all the other soldiers serving alongside him. So, they teamed up with two coffee shops in a city called Chuncheon, Korea.

Here’s what they did:

• Free Coffee and Rice Cakes! The fan group gave away 100 FREE cups of coffee and 100 special rice cakes to soldiers! These rice cakes are a traditional Korean food often eaten to celebrate special occasions, kind of like birthday cake here.
• Double the Coffee! The free coffee was such a hit that the shops actually ran out faster than expected! So the fan group surprised everyone by providing an extra 100 cups to make sure all the soldiers who wanted coffee could get some.

The soldiers were super happy about this special treat. One soldier even said he was surprised to find out it was the fans who organized everything! He plans to save his rice cake to give to V when he gets back to base. Another soldier said he might not get to see V in person, but he’s really grateful to the fans for the coffee.

The person who spoke for the “Kim Tae Hyung Support Korea” fan group said they wanted to do something nice for the soldiers V is serving with and celebrate his 100th day. They also said that all the fans are really missing V and can’t wait for him to finish his military service safely and healthy.

This isn’t the first time BTS fans have shown their support for the military! Earlier this year, fans of another BTS member, J-Hope, also gave away coffee to soldiers to celebrate his birthday.

While V is busy serving his country, his music career is still going strong! He just released a new song called “FRI(END)S” that became number one on music charts all over the world in just one day! The music video for the song also got millions of views on YouTube in just a few days. Wow!

BTS V fans are showing their love and support in a sweet way, and V’s music keeps on rocking the charts. Pretty cool, right?
