CBS is bringing together two of its biggest action dramas for a special two-hour crossover event. Fire Country and Sheriff Country are set to collide in November 2026. The event will feature Bode (Max Thieriot) and Sheriff Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin) joining forces to handle a dangerous prison break and a massive windstorm.
Fans have already started sharing their excitement online. One Reddit user wrote:
“Station 42 and Mickey make a great team. Can’t wait for this.”
The crossover comes after the two shows delivered their first major team-up earlier this year. That episode centered on a school bus explosion and a search for missing teens.
When Does the Crossover Air?
The two-hour crossover event is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026. It will begin at 8:00 PM ET/PT on CBS.
The night starts with Sheriff Country Season 2, Episode 5 titled “No Way In”. That episode runs from 8:00 to 9:00 PM ET/PT.
Then comes Fire Country Season 5, Episode 5 titled “No Way Out”. It airs from 9:00 to 10:00 PM ET/PT.
The two episodes will play back-to-back without credits in between. This makes the crossover feel like one continuous story.
What Is the Crossover About?
The crossover starts with a prison break that turns into a hostage crisis. Sheriff Mickey Fox must make a difficult choice that could change everything.
Fire Country stars Max Thieriot (Bode), Kevin Alejandro (Manny), and Jules Latimer (Eve) will appear as guest stars in the Sheriff Country episode.
The second hour picks up with escaped convicts triggering a manhunt. Bode and the Station 42 crew team up with Sheriff Mickey Fox and her deputies. They work together to protect their loved ones and the community.
Sheriff Country stars Morena Baccarin, Matt Lauria, Michele Weaver, Amanda Arcuri, and Ian Quinlan will appear as guest stars in the Fire Country episode.
What the Showrunner Says
Matt Lopez, the showrunner and executive producer of Sheriff Country, spoke with Deadline about what fans can expect. He said Mickey and Manny will play major roles in the crossover.
“There’s a situation that arises on the day of a spectacular windstorm and fire event. There are also escaped convicts on the loose. There are resources required both from 42 in the Fire Country Universe and from the ESCO (Edgewater County Sheriff’s Office) in the Sheriff Country Universe. There’s this real push and pull, and as leaders of these particular incidents, Mickey and Manny will have to figure out how to navigate this, and there are personal stakes involved. It’s a real sort of roller coaster episode. I think audiences will love it.”
Lopez also explained why this crossover is happening earlier in the season. Last year’s crossover was the 13th episode of each show. This time, they planned for it to happen in Episode 5.
He described the crossover as a “standalone adventure”. But it will still connect to existing storylines from both shows.
Why Fans Are Excited
Social media is buzzing with reactions to the crossover news. Fans of both shows remember the first crossover from April 2026. That event set high expectations.
One fan on Reddit expressed their excitement for the upcoming event. Another fan shared similar feelings about the team-up.
The crossover brings together two popular characters. Bode is a former convict turned firefighter. Sheriff Mickey Fox leads the Edgewater County Sheriff’s Office. Their worlds colliding creates a lot of interest among viewers.
