The first full trailer for Jonathan Majors‘ comeback movie ‘Run Hide Fight: Infidels’ has arrived. The action thriller marks the actor’s return to the screen following his departure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is set to release exclusively on The Daily Wire platform on September 16, 2026.
Majors, who was fired from Marvel after a 2023 assault conviction, stars as a retired Delta Force captain who must fight to save a college campus from terrorists. The trailer, released on August 6, 2026, shows Majors in his first filmed project after his trial and probation sentence.
What ‘Run Hide Fight: Infidels’ Is About
The film follows Clayton Saunders (played by Majors), a retired Delta Force soldier who visits Laughton University to promote his new book. When radical Islamic terrorists hijack a pro-Palestine encampment on campus, they take students hostage and try to enforce Sharia law.
The official logline reads: “When radical Islamic terrorists hijack a liberal college’s pro-Palestine encampment to enforce barbaric Sharia law on students and execute infidels in a makeshift caliphate, a ragtag band of red-blooded students, a security guard tired of ‘Uncle Tom’ smears and a Delta Force vet must arm up to save their clueless peers and keep America from surrendering to the enemy on its own soil”.
In the trailer, Saunders delivers a speech on campus about how Islam could “conquer the West”. Terrorists launch an attack while he speaks, and Saunders takes charge, telling the crowd: “We cannot run or hide from what is coming. We have to fight”. At one point, he shoots a vehicle, causing it to explode, and says, “That’s the American way”.
The film draws inspiration from 1980s action movies like Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers. Producer Dallas Sonnier told Page Six: “We all worship at the altar of director John Milius and Red Dawn. And Eastwood, and all the other wonderful action stars of the ’80s — Stallone and Schwarzenegger. Nobody’s making these types of movies anymore”.
Cast and Production Team
The movie features an entirely new cast alongside Majors. The cast includes David Lucas, JC Kilcoyne, Sharon Johal, Stephen Hailo, Tyler Aser, James Bingham, Charlotte Delaney Riggs, Chase Ramsey, and Jason Gray-Stanford.
Kyle Rankin, who directed the original 2020 film ‘Run Hide Fight’ , returns as writer and director. The film is produced by conservative commentator Ben Shapiro through The Daily Wire, along with Dallas Sonnier of Bonfire Legend. Additional producers include Travis Mills, Lillian Campbell, and Sydney Aucreman.
The movie was made on a budget of $5 million. Sonnier shared that Majors was fully committed to the project, saying: “Majors loved the script, loved shooting the movie, is so great in the film, and he is totally 1,000% behind it”.

‘Run Hide Fight: Infidels’ will premiere exclusively on Daily Wire+ on September 16, 2026. The film will not be available in theaters or on other streaming platforms.

The On-Set Accident That Made Headlines
Production on the film faced challenges. In April 2026, Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne fell through an unsecured window during filming in Gaffney, South Carolina. The incident led to a labor strike by crew members over safety concerns. According to reports, members of IATSE walked off the set following the accident.
Majors’ Journey Back to the Screen
Majors’ career was moving at a fast pace before his legal troubles. He appeared in movies like ‘The Last Black Man in San Francisco’ , ‘Creed III’ , ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ , and ‘Magazine Dreams’ , as well as the HBO series ‘Lovecraft Country’ .
In 2023, Majors was arrested and found guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and harassment of his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. He was sentenced to complete a domestic violence intervention program. Following the conviction, Marvel Studios fired him from the role of Kang the Conqueror.
‘Run Hide Fight: Infidels’ is Majors’ first project filmed after his trial and probation. He also has other projects in the works, including the supernatural revenge thriller ‘Merciless’ from Martin Villeneuve and the dramatic thriller ‘Dinner at Nick’s’ .

The movie’s premise has drawn criticism. One LA Times critic called the logline “xenophobic and Islamophobic” and accused it of “rehashing 40-year-old tropes while invoking conspiracy theories of Muslims bringing sharia law to America”.
