Kim You Jung and Park Jinyoung are giving viewers an early look at their working relationship ahead of the premiere of “100 Days of Deception.” A new behind-the-scenes video from the drama’s poster shoot shows the two leads laughing, joking, and helping each other between takes. tvN released a making-of video on September 23, 2026, showing Kim You Jung and Park Jinyoung during the poster and teaser filming for “100 Days of Deception.” The footage captures the two actors at Gyeongseong Station, where their characters first cross paths.
Before cameras started rolling, Park Jinyoung helped brush dust off Kim You Jung’s clothes. The two stayed playful throughout the shoot. When Park Jinyoung mentioned that the lighting was too bright, he motioned that Kim You Jung shines even brighter. In another poster setup, Kim You Jung laughed when Park Jinyoung placed his hand over her chin. He could not stop laughing as he said, “I’m sorry, it’s my first time doing something like this.”
The laughter continued through multiple takes. The two actors struggled to keep straight faces whenever they had to stand close to each other. At one point, Kim You Jung told him, “Don’t do it, just stay still,” which made the whole set laugh. By the end of the shoot, Kim You Jung suggested they swap positions, which impressed the production team.

What The Drama Is About
“100 Days of Deception” is set in 1930s Gyeongseong, the name for present-day Seoul during the Japanese colonial period. The story follows Lee Ga Kyeong (Kim You Jung), the top pickpocket in the city. She becomes an undercover spy for the Korean independence movement and enters the Japanese Government-General of Korea using the false identity of Geum Seo Hee, a new interpreter trainee.
At the Government-General, she meets Kim Tae Woong (Park Jinyoung), a senior interpreter who also goes by the Japanese name Sato Hideo. He is the adopted son of the Inspector-General of Korea, the second-highest-ranking official in the administration. The two have crossed paths before by chance, and Tae Woong remains suspicious of Ga Kyeong rather than trusting her easily.
The drama’s central tension comes from the fact that both characters are hiding their true identities and goals. The production team has described their relationship as one built on lies that neither wants to expose or believe.

“100 Days of Deception” features a supporting cast of well-known actors:
- Kim Hyun Joo plays Yoo So Ran, a sniper for the anti-Japanese organization Gugukdan.

Kim You Jung said she became so involved in the script when she first read it that she lost track of time. She described Lee Ga Kyeong as “a character who represents the young people of that era.” She said she spent a lot of time thinking about how to help viewers experience what she felt while reading the script.
Park Jinyoung is a member of the K-pop group GOT7 and has built an acting career through dramas like “He Is Psychometric” and “The Devil Judge.” Kim You Jung began as a child actress and is known for “Moon Embracing the Sun,” “Love in the Moonlight,” and “Backstreet Rookie.”
