Recap of Previous Episodes
Season 2 Episode 1
The second season opens with Magilumiere Co. still fighting for recognition in the magical girl industry. The company’s Alice System, which allows magical girls to order the magic they need for battle, faces rejection at an industry conference due to a lack of proven results. President Shigemoto takes on a large and dangerous project to prove his system works. Meanwhile, someone approaches Hitomi Koshigaya with a suspicious proposal that puts her father in a difficult position.
Season 2 Episode 2
The second episode continues to develop the corporate rivalries and personal stakes for the characters. The show introduces new challenges for Kana as she learns more about the magical girl business. The episode also sets up the growing threats from the Kaii monsters, which are becoming more dangerous.
The season is adapting the “Large-Scale Disaster Arc” from the original manga, which moves the story from smaller monster battles to a city-wide crisis.
What to Expect in Episode 3
Episode 3 will continue the story of Magilumiere Co. as the team faces tougher monsters and bigger corporate obstacles. The new season introduces two new characters who will appear in upcoming episodes:
- Sakae Tōnomori (voiced by Manaka Iwami) – a priestess from the traditional Tōnomori family in Kyoto
- Hibiki Yamimori (voiced by Masaya Fukunishi) – a student at Kyoto Magic University

The season also features a new opening theme song called “Latte Magic,” performed by syudou in collaboration with Yusei Yagi from the group FANTASTICS. The ending theme is “BooooM!!!” performed by VTuber Marine Houshou.
Story So Far
Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. tells the story of Kana Sakuragi, a college student who struggles to find a job. After applying to over 15 companies without success, she gets caught in a Kaii attack. A magical girl named Hitomi Koshigaya comes to the rescue, and Kana uses her excellent memory to help defeat the monster. This leads to Kana being offered a job at Magilumiere Co. Ltd., a small startup company that employs magical girls.
In this world, “Magical Girl” is an actual profession where people get paid to fight supernatural disasters called Kaii. The job is popular and pays well, but it also comes with corporate challenges.

The Anomalies (another name for the monsters) keep getting worse, and the team must prove that their Alice System works.
