What Happened Last Week? NCIS Season 23 Episode 15 Recap
Episode 15, titled Knick-Knack, sent the team on a wild treasure hunt. The case started when a retired naval officer was found dead on a museum ship that was once a World War II vessel.
The victim, Miles Griffin, was the museum curator. He was found in his Marine uniform. The team quickly learned that Griffin did not like modern technology. He owned no computer or phone. The only thing of value he had was an old medal.
A message found at the scene read “Keep it Safe”. This confused the team at first. But Knight figured out that Griffin was hiding something very valuable. It turned out to be a dinosaur bone worth millions of dollars.
The killer was the victim’s own grandson, Kevin. He wanted his grandfather to sell the bone to a rich buyer. When Griffin refused, Kevin killed him to get the money. In the end, the museum assistant, Nora, was given the job of returning the bone to its rightful owners.

The official synopsis for S.O.S. sets up a creepy situation. A Navy lieutenant shows up one year after her plane went missing. On the surface, it sounds like a miracle. But the NCIS team is suspicious.
The lieutenant’s story does not add up. The team quickly figures out that the plane crash was not an accident. As Parker and the team dig deeper, every answer seems to create more questions.
