Netflix has officially ordered second seasons for three of its popular UK original shows: the period drama House of Guinness, the reality series Being Gordon Ramsay, and the crime thriller Legends. The renewals were confirmed on August 24, 2026, as part of a larger announcement that also included a third season for The Gentlemen and a ninth season for Formula 1: Drive to Survive.
Steven Knight, the creator of House of Guinness, shared his excitement about continuing the story of the famous brewing family. Neil Forsyth, who created Legends, also expressed his delight at getting to tell more stories in that world. ‘House of Guinness’ Season 2 Brings Back the 19th-Century Dynasty
House of Guinness is a period drama set in 19th-century Dublin that follows the powerful Guinness family after the death of patriarch Sir Benjamin Guinness. The first season ended with a dramatic cliffhanger: a gunshot fired at Arthur Guinness during a political rally. Creator Steven Knight says he wants viewers to wonder where that bullet will go.
The show features a strong ensemble cast including Anthony Boyle as Arthur Guinness, Louis Partridge as Edward Guinness, Emily Fairn as Anne, and Fionn O’Shea as Benjamin.
