Episode 4: Kel’s Face on a Billboard Leads to His Parents Finding Out the Truth
Kel’s situation takes a wild turn when his face appears on a billboard advertising jaw surgery he never actually had. This forces him to finally tell his parents that he left medical school. They feel disappointed by the news, but Kel stands up for himself and his real passion which is acting.
While Kel tries to stop thinking about Abby, viewers watch Abby get closer to Austin, the famous actor she styles. Austin asks Abby for help getting ready for George Clooney’s big event, and she agrees to style him.
Josh Makes an Online Situation Worse for His Boss
Josh gets pulled into a strange internet conspiracy about his boss Wes Dryden. Online rumors claim that Wes has died and that his TV appearances are all fake. Josh tries to argue with people online, but this only makes things worse. People find out that Josh works for Wes’s company, making the rumor spread even faster.
The only way to fix the mess is for Wes to pretend to be a ghost on live television. This strange solution finally puts the rumor to rest.
AJ and Bill Share Their First Kiss
AJ helps Bill close a big deal at work, and their professional connection turns personal. The two end up kissing each other, which sets up a new romantic storyline for the series.
Episode 5: AJ Tries to Ignore the Kiss While Bill Shows Up at Her Door
In Episode 5, AJ decides to do the mature thing and pretend the kiss with Bill never happened. She puts all her energy into helping Davis instead. Davis gets exposed on a social media gossip page called Fisher Trashen. The page reveals that Davis lied about his relationship with a woman named Madison and how he treated her.
AJ volunteers to help Davis fix his image problem. It turns out Davis actually dated Madison for three months, not just a casual hookup. He even left her with an adopted mastiff. AJ helps Davis see his mistakes, giving him a much needed reality check.
But AJ cannot run from her feelings for long. After she gets home and accepts that the kiss with Bill might have been a one time thing, Bill waits outside her apartment. He tells her he does not think their kiss was a mistake. Then he kisses her again.
Kel Refuses Austin’s Condition for Help
Kel asks Abby to help him find an agent through Austin. Austin agrees to help, but he puts one condition on the table. Kel has to help Austin win over Abby. Kel decides not to accept the deal, refusing to be part of Austin’s plan.
Meanwhile, Abby secretly styles Austin for an award show behind her boss Vanessa’s back. When Vanessa finds out, she gets upset about the betrayal.
Josh’s Plan to Win Paula Goes Wrong
Josh tries hard to win over Paula by arranging a doctor visit for her. He learns that she planned to see an endocrinologist and wants to help. But his plan falls apart when Paula reveals she does not have diabetes. She only wanted to take some time off work.
After this failure, Josh ends up sleeping with Elena instead. This leaves his relationship with Paula in a very uncertain place.
