The One Piece manga is taking another scheduled break, pushing Chapter 1190 back by two weeks. Creator Eiichiro Oda confirmed the pause after releasing Chapter 1189 on July 26, 2026. The next chapter will now arrive on August 9, 2026, in Weekly Shonen Jump Double Issue #37-38.
This break comes at a tense moment in the story. The Elbaf arc is reaching its peak, with Luffy facing Imu in a battle that has readers around the world waiting for answers.
Chapter 1190 Release Date and Schedule
One Piece Chapter 1190 will release officially on Sunday, August 9, 2026. The chapter was originally expected on August 2, but Oda took a break after Chapter 1189 dropped in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #35.
The manga will skip Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #36, which was set for August 2. Instead, Chapter 1190 will appear in the double issue #37-38.
