The world premiere of War took place on Wednesday, September 16, at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London. Sienna Miller and Dominic West attended the event to promote their upcoming series. Speaking to the Associated Press, Miller was asked whether people might reconsider getting a divorce after watching the show. She replied, “They might rethink a divorce.”
Dominic West added that the series does not recommend couples getting a divorce. He advised couples to resolve their differences outside the court. When a reporter asked whether living in different countries would help, West said it was a great idea. Season 1 focuses on the divorce of British tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson (Dominic West) and international film star Carla Duval (Sienna Miller).
The story begins with Carla providing evidence to her lawyers to prove that Morgan has broken the terms of their prenuptial agreement. The case develops into a ruthless legal fight between the rival firms. The drama explores how prenups are not automatically legally binding or enforceable by courts in England and Wales. It also examines what happens when a private relationship becomes a public legal battle.
War Cast and Release Details
Season 1 of War premieres on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 9 PM ET on HBO. The series will be available on Sky and NOW in the UK on October 2. It will also air in Italy, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Austria, France, Asia, and Belgium.

Sienna Miller made the War premiere a family affair. She was joined on the blue carpet by her 14-year-old daughter Marlowe. Each season we can come back and reboot with guest star clients,” he said.
