The third season of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You brought more chaos, more romance, and more girlfriends to Rentaro Aijo’s already crowded love life. The anime, produced by Bibury Animation Studios, premiered on July 5, 2026, and ran for 12 episodes until September 20, 2026. The season adapted manga content starting from volume 11 and introduced several new soulmates to the Rentaro Family.
The show follows Rentaro Aijo (Wataru Kato), a high school boy who was rejected by 100 girls in middle school. After praying at a shrine, the God of Love tells him he will meet 100 destined soulmates in high school. But there is a catch: once destiny introduces someone to him, they must happily love each other. If they do not, they will die.
The opening theme song for Season 3 is “Daisuki♡Zutto Eien Ni♡” (I Love You♡ Always and Forever♡), performed by Rentarō Family.
New Girlfriends Join the Rentaro Family
Season 3 introduced several new heroines to Rentaro’s growing harem. The voice cast expanded with talented actors bringing these characters to life.
Chiyo Iin (Kaori Ishihara) is Rentaro’s cousin who becomes his next soulmate. The season kicks off with Rentaro being asked by his uncle to look after his daughter Chiyo while he is away. Despite thinking a “zing” with a cousin is impossible, destiny has other plans.
Nadeshiko Yamato (Ayana Taketatsu) also joined the cast as a new girlfriend.
Yamame Yasashiki (Hana Tamegai) is a nature-loving girl who appears later in the season.
Momiji Momi (Aoi Koga) is a middle schooler who loves giving massages. She becomes Rentaro’s 15th girlfriend.
Kishika Torotoro (Yumika Yano) is the knight-like captain of the girls’ kendo club. She debuted in Episode 9 as Rentaro’s 17th girlfriend.
Yaku Yakuzen (Rie Kugimiya) is Kusuri’s grandmother. She appeared in Episode 8. The legendary voice actress Rie Kugimiya joined the cast for this role.

Episode 1: Cousin and Girlfriend (July 5, 2026)
The season opens with a reporter asking about love at a shopping mall where Rentaro and some of the girls are. Rentaro is asked by his uncle to look after his daughter Chiyo Iin. When their eyes meet, Rentaro feels the “zing” – the sign of a destined soulmate. Despite Chiyo being his cousin, Rentaro accepts her as his new girlfriend.
Episode 2: Chiyo’s Family Coaching (July 12, 2026)
Rentaro introduces Chiyo to the rest of the Rentaro Family. She is shocked by the state of affairs – the sheer number of girlfriends and the chaotic household dynamics. The episode focuses on Chiyo adjusting to her new life and the family accepting her.
Episode 3: The Japanese Teacher Has Blonde Hair (July 19, 2026)
A new Japanese teacher arrives at school. She seems obsessed with the United States and has blonde hair. This episode introduces another new character to the mix, adding more comedy to the school setting.
Episode 4: The Rentaro Family Idol Legend (July 26, 2026)
The Rentaro Family has to take the stage at the school festival as pinch-hitters. The big question is whether they can actually pull off a performance. This episode delivers plenty of laughs as the family tries to become idols.
Episode 5: Yasashiki-san’s Gardening Club Tour (August 2, 2026)
Rentaro gets the idea to gift flower crowns to his girlfriends. He asks the gardening club for help, leading to the introduction of Yamame Yasashiki, a nature-loving girl.
Episode 6: Momiji-chan’s Squishy Festival (August 9, 2026)
Rentaro seeks out a rumored masseuse to help his exhausted girlfriends. This leads to the introduction of Momiji Momi, a middle schooler who is an expert at giving massages. The episode features plenty of comedic moments involving Momiji’s unique skills.
Episode 7: Thumbelinano and the Kusurivanian Family (August 16, 2026)
This episode has two major storylines. First, Nano accidentally drinks one of Kusuri’s drugs and shrinks down to the size of Thumbelina. The entire first half is filled with jokes about tiny Nano – from the other girls fawning over her cuteness to her trying to continue her daily routine while small. A gust of wind almost blows Nano away, but Rentaro saves her. The next morning, Nano is back to normal but without any clothes, leading to a kiss that short-circuits Rentaro’s brain.
The second half involves Kusuri’s dad summoning Rentaro to their house. He wants to “talk” to Rentaro about dating his daughter. The meeting goes awry when a spy tries to kidnap Kusuri to abuse her powers. Kusuri’s dad transforms into a Hulk-like figure and sends the spy flying.
Episode 8: Kusuri-Senpai’s Grandmother (August 23, 2026)
While visiting Kusuri’s home, Rentaro feels the sparks fly with her grandmother. This episode confirms the identity of the mystery soulmate revealed at the end of the previous episode. Yaku Yakuzen, Kusuri’s grandmother, becomes Rentaro’s newest girlfriend. The character visual for Yaku was revealed following this episode.
Episode 9: Hardcore Hot Spring Chaos (August 30, 2026)
The entire Rentaro Family goes to a hardcore hot spring resort. Kusuri is swept into a harsh stream, and Iku jumps in to save her. Mei ends up in a freezing bath while Hahari stays with her, saying that protecting Mei is her duty as her master. Rentaro saves all three girls, but does not reveal how he did it.
The episode also introduced Kishika Torotoro, the captain of the girls’ kendo club, as Rentaro’s 17th girlfriend.
Episode 10: New Challenges (September 6, 2026)
This episode pushed boundaries even further with its absurd humor and storytelling. The addition of an adult character to Rentaro’s harem surprised many viewers.
Episode 11: Building Towards the Finale (September 13, 2026)
The penultimate episode continued developing the relationships and setting up the season finale. The Rentaro Family faced new challenges together.
Episode 12: Season Finale (September 20, 2026)
The season finale brought the arc to a close, tying up loose ends with the usual dose of comedy. The episode included teasers for potential new members of the Rentaro Family.
Fan Reactions and Reviews
The third season received strong reactions from fans. The community score for Episode 33 (Season 3, Episode 9) on Anime News Network was 4.5 out of 5.
One reviewer noted that the “horny content quotient” of the show has increased this season, which makes sense given the increased number of girlfriends. The addition of characters like compulsive gropers and older grandmothers resulted in more fan service moments.
A blogger at D&A Anime Blog described the show as having “absolutely zero f’s to give” and expressed love for its unapologetic comedy. The same reviewer called the smol Nano segment “an absolute gift from the heavens”.
Another review mentioned that the show is “speedrunning the manga” this season, suggesting the anime is covering material at a faster pace than previous seasons.
Some fans expressed disappointment that Episode 33 did not focus on Iku as expected. However, they remained confident that the show would win them back with future episodes.
The season premiere also generated controversy, with some critics feeling the show had gone too far. However, many fans appreciated the show’s willingness to push boundaries.
