The Episode Title Hints at a Core Team Focus
The episode title focuses directly on three original members of The Boys: Frenchie (Tomer Capone), Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara), and Motherโs Milk (Laz Alonso).
After the chaos involving Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) and the hunt for V1, the show is pulling the focus back to the main group. Reports suggest Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and Hughie (Jack Quaid) will also have a major scene together, possibly revealing how Butcher got the scar on his forehead. Homelander (Antony Starr) is now more dangerous than ever after injecting the V1 serum, making the teamโs mission seem almost impossible.

A Warning About Major Deaths
Karl Urban recently warned fans that the final episodes are extremely brutal. While many expect the finale to have the highest body count, Urban suggested that Episode 7 might actually be the most devastating.
โKarl Urban says more deaths are coming in โThe Boysโ season 5, with key episodes set to hit hard. Urban, who plays Billy Butcher, recently teased that episodes seven and eight of the final season contain some of the most devastating moments yet.โ
He indicated that major characters might not even make it to the end credits of Episode 7. Following the recent deaths of Mr. Marathon (Jared Padalecki) and Malchemical (Misha Collins) in Episode 5, it is clear that no one is safe.
The Supernatural Reunion Continues
Fans are still talking about the Supernatural reunion in Episode 5 where Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins shared the screen for the first time in years. While those characters met brutal ends (Soldier Boy crushed Malchemicalโs neck and Homelander stomped Mr. Marathonโs head), the nostalgia is not over.
Prime Video recently released an alternate outtake showing the three actors joking around together. The chemistry between Ackles, Padalecki, and Collins brought back the old “Sam, Dean, and Castiel” energy for fans. Even though their characters are gone, that moment remains a highlight of the final season.
