What Is Included In The New Tomb Raider Physical Collection

Limited Run Games and Aspyr have confirmed that Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is getting a physical release for the Nintendo Switch 2 in both Standard and Collector’s Editions. Pre-orders opened on October 9, 2026, and will remain open until November 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

The Standard Edition is priced at $49.99 and includes the physical Game Card, a case, and an eight-page booklet. The Collector’s Edition, priced at $99.99, adds a SteelCase, a Trinity cloth patch, a Collector’s Edition box, and a light-up replica of the Divine Source artifact**. A separate listing on the Limited Run Games website shows the Collector’s Edition at $140.99, with an estimated shipping window between August 1, 2027, and October 31, 2027.

Both versions include the full game on a Game Card rather than a download code, which is a key detail for physical collectors. The 20 Year Celebration edition bundles all Season Pass content and DLCs, including Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Cold Darkness Awakened, Blood Ties, Lara’s Nightmare, Endurance Mode, and Co-op Endurance. It also includes 8 DLC outfits, 7 DLC weapons, 35 Expansion Cards, Extreme Survivor Difficulty, 5 Classic Lara Skins, and the TR III Reimagined “Antarctica” Outfit.

Why The 20 Year Celebration Name Carries Over

Rise of the Tomb Raider first launched in 2015 as the middle chapter of Crystal Dynamics’ Survivor trilogy, following the 2013 reboot. The 20 Year Celebration edition was originally released in 2016 to mark 20 years since the first Tomb Raider game debuted in 1996. A decade later, the anniversary branding is being carried over even as the franchise itself now celebrates 30 years.

The game follows Lara Croft into the frozen wilds of Siberia in search of Kitezh, a lost city tied to the Divine Source, an artifact believed to grant immortality. Standing in her way is Trinity, a shadowy organization chasing the same prize. The story draws on a real Russian legend of a city that vanished beneath a lake to escape invaders, giving the expedition a mythic anchor.

Partners include 8BitDo, Aspyr, Dark Horse Comics, Funko, Loungefly, GUNNAR Optiks, Upper Deck, Tubbz, and Syntilay, among others.

Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis Delay And What Comes Next

The next mainline entry in the franchise, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, was originally expected in 2026. During a State of Play presentation in June 2026, it was confirmed that the game has been delayed to February 12, 2027. The title is a reimagining of Lara Croft’s original 1996 adventure, created in collaboration with Amazon Game Studios and Flying Wild Hog.

The delay has consequently pushed Tomb Raider: Catalyst to 2028. A live-action Prime Video series starring Sophie Turner of Game of Thrones fame is also in the works.

Fans who want to revisit Lara Croft’s Siberian adventure can pre-order the physical Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration from Limited Run Games until November 15, 2026. The Standard Edition ships at $49.99, while the Collector’s Edition is listed at $99.99 on the official product page.
