“I think I should be the next James Bond, why am I not in that running? Can we get me in that running?”

“I don’t like all the competition and the speculation. All that matters is that he’s my James Bond and whatever it will be, what’s great is that they’ll find the person for it, whoever that may be. But Tewkesbury is Louis, hands down. There’s no other person that could ever play him,”
Partridge, 23, has been mentioned as a possible candidate for the 007 role. Industry reports from Variety suggested that Partridge is one of several actors being considered. When asked about the rumors, Partridge called it “wonderful” to be linked to such an iconic character.

It’s very impactful and meaningful, and I am very excited to continue on bringing characters like that to screen that show range and slowly, leaving the action world, entering into the romance world and then more to come,”
Brown also talked about returning to the Enola character for the third time. She said playing Enola is always fun because she enjoys the script and working with Louis Partridge.
“She’s just a really fun character to play. I have a lot of fun with the script, with the lines and I love working with Louis. Enola and Tewkesbury’s relationship is blossoming and growing in this film, and I was just ready to jump into it full force. It’s very exciting that Netflix wants to continue with the franchise,”
When asked if playing the same character gets harder with each movie, Brown said it actually gets easier.
“It gets easier. Of course there is always the pressure of hope that the audience is enjoying the evolution of this character that I’m building, but I don’t necessarily think it gets harder,”
James Bond Casting Search Officially Underway
The timing of Brown’s comments lines up with major news about the James Bond franchise. Amazon MGM Studios officially started the search for the next actor to play 007. Acclaimed casting director Nina Gold has been brought in to find the right person for the role.
The next Bond film will be directed by Denis Villeneuve. Auditions have been happening in recent weeks, and the studio said the search is moving forward.
Industry experts believe Amazon will likely choose an actor who is talented but not already a huge star. This could open the door for younger actors like Louis Partridge or even someone completely unexpected.
