The summer 2026 anime season continues with another action-packed episode of the fantasy series. Episode 11 of From Overshadowed to Overpowered: Second Reincarnation of a Talentless Sage is set to arrive this week. Fans of the show have been following the journey of Ephtal, a sage who died in despair but got a second chance at life 400 years later.
The anime, produced by EMT Squared, has been releasing new episodes every Thursday on Crunchyroll. The series follows Ephtal, a man from modern Earth who reincarnated into a fantasy world to master magic, only to discover he had no talent for it. After dying again, he reincarnated a second time 400 years later with all his memories and power intact.
Episode 11 Release Date and Time
Episode 11 of From Overshadowed to Overpowered: Second Reincarnation of a Talentless Sage will release on Thursday, September 3, 2026. The episode will be available at the following times:

The series is expected to have a total of 12 episodes. Episode 12 is scheduled to release on September 10, 2026.
What Happened in Episode 10
Episode 10, titled “Veiled Truth” (欺瞞 -Veiled Truth-), aired on August 27, 2026. The episode focused on a curse that struck two main characters.
Anastasia and Merlin were afflicted by a curse that turned them into little children. Ephtal started making serious preparations to forcefully remove Anastasia’s special slave crest. Meanwhile, Anastasia visited the treasure vault with Merlin to apologize to the demon lord. During this visit, unexpected trouble fell upon them, and they transformed into children.
The episode showed Ephtal dealing with this new challenge while continuing his mission to restore true sorcery in a world where magic has declined significantly.
