She was genuine and humble, supportive, and blisteringly funny, with a bodied sense of humour that would send any rude guy looking for a place to hide. I couldn’t see then what a real giant Dolly was, not just as an artist but as a human.”
She gave a shout-out to Canada, where Remarkably Bright Creatures was filmed.

Remarkably Bright Creatures Wins Outstanding Television Movie
Remarkably Bright Creatures also won the Emmy for Outstanding Television Movie at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 6, 2026 . The film is based on the novel by Shelby Van Pelt and tells the story of an unlikely friendship between a widow and a giant Pacific octopus .
