100 Days of Deception is a 16-episode Korean drama airing on tvN and streaming worldwide on Netflix. The show premiered on October 10, 2026, and releases two new episodes every weekend until the finale on November 29, 2026. Set in 1932 Gyeongseong during the Japanese colonial period, it follows a skilled pickpocket who goes undercover inside the colonial government and falls for the son of her target.

This guide covers the full episode calendar, release times for major regions, the main cast, and where the story stands after the first three episodes.

What the Story Is About

Lee Ga-kyung (played by Kim Yoo-jung) is Gyeongseong’s top pickpocket. Her only goal is to leave colonial Korea and start over in America. A group fighting for Korean independence, known as Gugukdan, offers her a way out: work as an undercover interpreter inside the Japanese Government-General of Joseon for 100 days and gather secrets to support an assassination plan.

Her mission puts her directly in the path of Kim Tae-woong, also known as Sato Hideo (played by Park Jin-young of GOT7). He is an elite interpreter for the colonial government and the adopted son of its director-general of political affairs. Their relationship grows while Ga-kyung works against everything Hideo’s position stands for.

Release Times for USA, UK, India, and More

Here is how that timing translates for major regions:

  • USA (Eastern Time): around 10:00 a.m. ET on the episode day
  • USA (Pacific Time): around 7:00 a.m. PT
  • UK: around 3:00 p.m. BST
  • Canada (Eastern Time): around 10:00 a.m. ET
  • India: around 7:30 p.m. IST
  • Australia (Sydney/Melbourne): around 1:00 a.m. AEDT the following day
  • South Korea: 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN, the earliest broadcast

Netflix subtitles usually appear within a short window after the Korean broadcast, so viewers outside Korea can watch with English subtitles on the same day. Exact timing can shift slightly by region, but the same-day release pattern has held for every episode so far.

Main Cast and Characters

Kim Yoo-jung leads the series as Lee Ga-kyung, a pickpocket who becomes an undercover translator. Kim said the character’s growth drew her to the project.

“Ga-kyung is in her early 20s — a vulnerable age when she hasn’t even figured out what her dreams are. I was fascinated to see how a young person living through that era would evolve.”

Park Jin-young plays Kim Tae-woong / Sato Hideo, the elite interpreter whose position puts him on the opposite side of Ga-kyung’s mission.

Kim Hyun-joo plays Yoo So-ran, the leader of the independence group that recruits Ga-kyung.

Lee Moo-saeng appears as Yoo Phillip, and Jin Seon-kyu plays Sato Shinichi.

The series is directed by Yoo In-sik, known for Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Dr. Romantic. The script comes from Ryu Bo-ri, who wrote Do You Like Brahms?. It is a special project marking tvN’s 20th anniversary.

Where the Story Stands After Episode 3

Episode 3 pushed Ga-kyung deeper into the spy mission. She initially rejected So-ran’s offer to work as an interpreter trainee in exchange for passage to America. After her boss took all her money, she agreed to become a spy for the independence group on her own terms and set three conditions.

The episode also built her connection with Hideo. He protected her from the police by claiming she was with him, and she later pretended to have feelings for him while searching his locked drawer for documents. The episode ended with a man pulling a gun on her and asking if she was a spy.
