Two Comebacks Planned: Insomnia First, EMOTIION Later

“Insomnia” is the opening release in a comeback plan that RIIZE shared with fans in September. The second full-length album, “EMOTIION,” is planned for spring 2027. The group has not yet shared a tracklist, title track, or exact release date for that album.

The two-release plan gives RIIZE a digital single in October 2026 and a full album in 2027. The group’s previous full-length album was released before the “II” mini album, and “EMOTIION” will be their second studio album.

RIIZE debuted in September 2023 under SM Entertainment. The group’s current lineup is Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton.

What RIIZE Released Before Insomnia

RIIZE’s second mini album, “II,” arrived on June 15, 2026, with the title track “Do your dance.” The release followed the single “Fame,” which came out in November 2025.

The group also released a Japanese single, “Sunburst,” in September 2026. The single received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) after shipments passed 250,000 units. That certification covers physical shipments, not streaming numbers.

“Insomnia” will be RIIZE’s first Korean digital single since the “II” mini album. The group has not announced a Korean title track for the release beyond the single itself.

Spotify Playlists Tie Into the Insomnia Theme

RIIZE members shared late-night playlists on Spotify on October 19, the same day the teaser arrived. Each member picked a set of songs for listeners dealing with sleepless nights.

  • Shotaro: “Midnight Groove with SHOTARO”
  • Eunseok: “EUNSEOK’s Night Picks”
  • Sungchan: “SUNGCHAN’s Sleepytime Playlist”
  • Wonbin: “WONBIN’s Midnight Mood”
  • Sohee: “Counting Sheep with SOHEE”
  • Anton: “Night FM with ANTON”

The playlists are available on Spotify and were shared through RIIZE’s official accounts. The theme lines up with the title of the single and gives fans something to listen to before the release.
