The university romance between a fashion model and a computer engineer has reached its conclusion. The 4th Love Revolution, also known as LOVE.exe, released its finale on December 4, 2025, providing a complete and happy ending for main characters Kang Min-hak and Ju Yeon-san. The series, starring Kim Yo-han and Hwang Bo-reum-byeol, is a Wavve and Prime Video original that premiered on November 13. With all major plots resolved, the finale delivered the satisfying conclusion viewers were hoping for, while also exploring the couple’s journey from viral campus memes to a genuine relationship.
How Min-hak and Yeon-san’s Relationship Finally Began
The series followed the forced collaboration between the fashion and computer engineering departments at their university, throwing together two very different students. Kang Min-hak is a warm-hearted model and influencer, while Ju Yeon-san is a top student who is highly analytical but struggles with emotions. Their story began with a series of embarrassing, viral encounters that turned them into a campus meme.
A major turning point occurred when an accident during a fashion shoot led to Min-hak accidentally destroying Yeon-san’s laptop and the crucial project data it contained. To make amends, he joined her team for an important App Development Competition. This collaboration allowed Yeon-san to see his valuable skills in branding and design, which helped the team succeed and began to change her opinion of him.
Feelings developed gradually, with a near-kiss during a project crisis and Yeon-san eventually initiating their first real kiss after Min-hak confessed his feelings. However, their path to a relationship was disrupted in the final episodes by the sudden return of Min-hak’s ex-girlfriend, Jini, played by Bang Min-a. This created a tense and awkward situation that temporarily drove Min-hak and Yeon-san apart.
The Finale’s Resolution and a Complete Happy Ending
The finale episodes brought all conflicts to a close. Min-hak and Yeon-san reunited not just for personal reasons, but to confront a larger issue: corruption within their university. They worked together to expose the dean’s misuse of app-competition funds and exploitation of students.
During the resolution of the university’s corruption, they also reconciled through communication, and officially kickstarted their relationship.
This shared mission provided the space for them to talk and reconcile. Their efforts led to the corrupt dean stepping down and their team winning the app competition. The series ended with Min-hak and Yeon-san happily together, smiling and reminiscing about the embarrassing encounters that first brought them into each other’s lives. All subplots, including the stories of secondary characters, were also neatly concluded.
The Actors’ Thoughts on Wrapping Up the Series
For actress Hwang Bo-reum-byeol, playing Ju Yeon-san was a special and enjoyable challenge. This project marked her first leading role in a romantic comedy since her debut.
“I watched the final episode with a bittersweet and warm heart. The time I spent with Yeon-san was truly the happiest I could have asked for,” Hwang Bo-reum-byeol shared after the series ended.
She explained that she was drawn to the character’s unique rhythmโa logical exterior that slowly cracks to reveal a sensitive and endearing person inside. The actress focused on portraying Yeon-san’s gradual emotional changes through subtle reactions, rather than big, dramatic shifts.
Hwang Bo-reum-byeol also praised her co-star’s contribution to their on-screen chemistry. “Yo-han has a way of making the set feel comfortableโฆ He would naturally match my tempo and respond well to impromptu reactions, which really brought the Yeon-san and Min-hak scenes to life,” she said. She highlighted a particular scene where Min-hak and Yeon-san answer an exam question in completely different ways but arrive at the same answer as a moment that perfectly captured their relationship.

Is a Second Season of LOVE.exe Possible?
While fans often hope for more stories, The 4th Love Revolution was designed as a complete story with a definitive ending. The main couple achieved their happy ending, the central competition was won, and the institutional corruption was solved.
There have been no official announcements or statements from producers or the streaming platforms about a second season. The narrative wrapped up all its major plot threads, making a continuation less likely. If a second season were ever to be made, potential storylines could follow Min-hak and Yeon-san navigating life after graduation or facing new challenges in their careers. For now, the story of these two students has reached its natural and satisfying conclusion.
All 16 episodes of The 4th Love Revolution (LOVE.exe) are available for streaming on Wavve and Prime Video.
