Mark Duplass‘s serial killer, Peachfuzz, gives new meaning to holiday terror in the series’ Christmas episode. The fifth episode of The Creep Tapes Season 2, titled Nick, arrived on Shudder and AMC+ on December 12, 2025. In this festive special, the killer poses as a therapist to torment a vulnerable patient during a Christmas Eve session, resulting in one of the character’s most disturbing tapes.
For this episode, the show’s creators, Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice, blend holiday cheer with psychological horror. The guest victim is Nick Green, played by actor Timm Sharp. The episode is directed by Patrick Brice and runs for approximately 21-27 minutes, in line with the series’ format.
The Episode’s Christmas Eve Nightmare
The horror begins on Christmas Eve. The episode starts with an intruder knocking on the door of a therapist, Dr. Avison. When the doctor refuses to see him, the intruder forces his way inside. The intruder asks the doctor about a patient named Nick, and when questioned about how he knows this private information, he violently twists the doctor’s neck.
This intruder is Peachfuzz. After taking the doctor’s life, he prepares to steal his glasses. At that moment, there is another knock at the door. It is Nick Green, the patient, arriving for an emergency therapy appointment he scheduled earlier. Peachfuzz quickly puts on the doctor’s glasses and assumes his identity.
Posing as Dr. Avison, Peachfuzz invites Nick in for their session. Nick, clearly troubled, shares he is struggling with financial problems and has almost no social life. Instead of offering real help, Peachfuzz begins a cruel and unusual “treatment.” He starts talking about Santa Claus, trying to force Nick to believe in the holiday figure by connecting him to childhood trauma.
A Twisted Session and a Deadly Reveal
The fake therapy quickly turns more sinister. Peachfuzz pushes Nick to explore dark thoughts and even slips up by revealing a specific detail about Nick’s past: that his father left when Nick was seven years old. Nick becomes confused and concerned because he never shared that information with his therapist. Peachfuzz uses this knowledge to torment Nick further, pushing him to confront feelings of abandonment.
Peachfuzz then changes into a Santa Claus costume. He continues to badger Nick about his father, sharing a strange personal story from his own childhood about Santa. When Nick tries to point out the logical reality that Santa was just his parents, Peachfuzz reacts with sudden, childish anger. He suggests a deeply traumatic possibility about his own past, yelling, “What are you trying to say here? That it wasn’t Santa that came into my room, but some random guyโฆ Cuz he r** me?”**.
After this outburst, Nick collapses in the living room. It is revealed that Peachfuzz had drugged the eggnog. When Nick wakes up, it is Christmas Day. A frenzied Peachfuzz forces the groggy Nick to watch found footage of himself pulling a body from a chimney. He then brings Nick a large, wrapped present as a “gift”.
Peachfuzz opens the box to reveal the severed head of Nick’s father. Horrified, Nick throws the head at Peachfuzz and tries to escape the house. Peachfuzz follows him closely as Nick runs and hides in a dark room. In a final, abrupt moment, Nick trips and falls down the stairs as he tries to flee, ending the episode.
Behind the Scenes and Guest Star Reactions
The Christmas episode is a noted departure in the second season, which has featured a variety of scenarios for Peachfuzz. Guest star Timm Sharp, who plays the victim Nick, shared positive thoughts about filming the episode. In a statement, he said working on the series was a great experience.
“To be a part of The Creep tapes was genuinely one of the most fun experiences I’ve had on a shoot,” Sharp said. “I love Mark and Patrick and have been wanting to work with them both for a while. I can’t think of a better group of guys to spend a few days in a cabin with!”
The episode is one of six in The Creep Tapes Season 2, which premiered on November 14, 2025. The season has already been renewed for a third season, expected in 2026.
