The newly released stills show the pair standing in a cold atmosphere as they meet as employees from partner companies. Their inescapable connection becomes even more apparent in photos taken inside a dark storage vault, where they speak at close range, heightening the tension . The Story So Far
“Siren’s Kiss” follows inspector Cha Woo Seok (Wi Ha Joon) as he investigates an insurance fraud case involving people who all died after falling in love with Han Seol Ah (Park Min Young), a mesmerizing woman suspected to be at the center of it all . The drama premiered on March 2 and airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. KST on tvN .
Prior to this week’s episodes, Cha Woo Seok had been digging into the truth after Kim Yoon Ji (Lee Elijah)—who had said she would report a suspected insurance murderer—dies in a sudden fall . Park Min Young’s Intense Preparation
Park Min Young has received praise for her portrayal of the complex Han Seol Ah. To fully immerse herself in the character, the actress not only lost weight but also changed her lifestyle patterns, drinking over three liters of water a day during filming . This was a choice to realistically portray the setting where Han Seol Ah survives her days with whiskey and water without proper meals .
The character Han Seol Ah, born from this passion, left a strong impression on viewers from her first appearance. She aroused curiosity with her eerie expression while carving a wooden bird with a scalpel and bleeding, and her bold act of tearing up a confirmed forgery in an instant . Wi Ha Joon’s Immersion
Wi Ha Joon also vividly described his immersion when he first read the script. “I received scripts up to part 4, and I kept thinking, ‘What is this? How will it unfold?’ I couldn’t wait for the next part. Normally, even if I get spoiled, I don’t get angry, and even if I watch a show months later, I don’t feel much regret. But I read the script for ‘Siren’s Kiss’ in one go. That rarely happens to me” .
The “Squid Game” actor expressed deep affection for his co-star, saying, “My senior is such a veteran that I received a lot of help. There was tension between our characters, so it took time to get close, but after becoming friends, I gained energy from her bright side. It was the first time I thought, ‘I want to do just one more project with them,’ toward the end of filming. There has never been a set where I’ve been loved and given love this much” .

In a separate development revealed ahead of the March 9 episode, Han Seol Ah receives an unexpected package sent by her late fiancé Yoon Seung Jae (Ha Seok Jin) . Yoon Seung Jae, a restaurant CEO, was the man she promised her future to, and they were even engaged . However, when he suddenly died in a yacht accident, Han Seol Ah’s future was overturned in an instant.
In the released photos, Han Seol Ah’s face gets starkly pale as she checks the sender’s name on the parcel, ramping up the tension . The Men in Her Past
The production team previously announced that Ha Seok Jin, Yoon Jong Hoon, and Kim Dong Jun would make special appearances as Han Seol Ah’s ex-boyfriends . Ha Seok Jin plays Yoon Seung Jae, her last boyfriend and the man she was engaged to. Yoon Jong Hoon portrays Choi Young Ho, a psychiatrist who met Han Seol Ah as a patient before their relationship blossomed into romance. Kim Dong Jun takes on the role of Lee Soo Ho, a poor idealist and employee of an international relief organization who shared a sentimental romance with her seven years ago before they broke up due to differences in their values .
The production team stated, “There will be fun in deducing what secrets are hidden within the encounters and breakups between Han Seol Ah and these three men” .
New Cast Member Joins
Han Chae-rin has also joined the cast as Do Eun Hye, the younger sister of Do Eun Hyuk (Han Joon Woo), who is close friends with Han Seol Ah . Do Eun Hye is the sole witness to an incident and a character who strongly suspects Han Seol Ah and confronts her . Han Chae-rin shared her thoughts on her casting, saying, “It is a great honor to work with respected seniors. I want to do well and hope to meet expectations.
