Crunchyroll has officially announced its Summer 2026 anime slate, bringing over 40 new premieres and several returning fan favorites to the streaming platform. The lineup kicks off in late June and continues through July, featuring major sequels like Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3, Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2, and new adaptations including Black Torch and Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia.
Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Leads the Summer Charge
The biggest title of the season, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3, begins streaming on July 5. The series follows Rudeus Greyrat as he continues his journey through a fantasy world after being reincarnated with memories from his previous life. Crunchyroll has confirmed both English and Hindi dubs for the new season.
Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2 also makes its long-awaited return on July 8, after nearly a decade since the first season. The military fantasy series follows Tanya Degurechaff, a ruthless soldier reborn in an alternate World War I era, as she returns to the battlefield.
New Adaptations Generating Buzz
Black Torch debuts on July 4. Based on Tsuyoshi Takaki’s manga, the action series follows teenage shinobi Jiro, who can communicate with animals. His life changes when he meets Rago, a powerful mononoke cat, pulling him into a conflict between humans and supernatural beings. English and Hindi dubs have been confirmed.
Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia, from acclaimed studio Science SARU, arrives on the same day. The historical fantasy follows Sitara, a young woman whose pursuit of knowledge intersects with the rise of Genghis Khan’s Mongol Empire.
Tomb Raider King premieres on July 8. The adaptation follows Goriki Ryoga, a raider betrayed and left for dead, who gets a second chance and returns years before mysterious tombs filled with powerful relics emerge.
Romance and Slice-of-Life Highlights
You and I Are Polar Opposites Season 2 returns on July 5, following the relationship between cheerful Suzuki and reserved Yusuke Tani as they navigate high school romance.
Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You premieres on July 9. The adaptation centers on Sasaki, an overworked salaryman whose nightly routine changes after meeting a mysterious young woman behind his local supermarket.
Hana-Kimi Season 2 kicks off on July 1 with a two-episode premiere. The shojo series follows Mizuki Ashiya, who disguises herself as a boy to attend an all-male boarding school and meet her idol.
