Production is currently happening in New York for the third season of Daredevil: Born Again. New photos from the set have hit the internet, and they show a major turning point for one of the show’s main characters. Margarita Levieva, who plays Heather Glenn, was seen wearing a full costume that looks exactly like the villain Muse from the first season.
This confirms that Heather is officially becoming the female version of the serial killer, setting up a very personal story for Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) when the show returns.
Heather Glenn Becomes Lady Muse in Season 3
The photos floating around social media show Levieva in a dark, wrapped costume that matches the creepy art style of the original Muse. This change did not come out of nowhere. The show has been hinting at this turn since the first season.
In Season 1, Muse was one of Heather’s patients. He was a disturbed killer who used bodies for art. He became obsessed with her. When Daredevil fought Muse to save Heather, she was the one who picked up the gun and shot the villain dead. That moment broke something inside her.

Season 2 showed Heather slowly losing her mind. She started working for Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio). She also kept Muse’s mask in her apartment. Keeping that mask was a big sign that the evil had not left her. Now in Season 3, she puts on the full mask and suit. She is no longer just a victim of Muse. She has become the new version of him.
A Darker Story for Matt Murdock
This change is very different from the comic books, but it fits the tone of the TV show. In the Marvel comics, the original Muse kills himself. Later, a ghostly version of him tricks an artist named Morgan Whittier into becoming the new Muse. The MCU is skipping the ghost part. Instead, they are using Heather’s real trauma and anger to push her over the edge.
For Matt Murdock, this is terrible news. Heather was his girlfriend. He tried to save her life. Now, he will have to fight her as a villain. This makes the fight very emotional. Matt is not just stopping a random killer; he is trying to stop someone he used to love.
What This Means for the Show
Some fans online are wondering if Heather as Lady Muse will be the main villain of Season 3. Since Heather does not have superpowers, and other heroes like Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) are returning, she might not be the biggest physical threat. However, she is the biggest emotional threat to Matt. Her fight with Daredevil will be less about punching and more about the pain of watching a good person fall into darkness.
