Ahreum, who was a member of T-ara from 2012 to 2013, has been open about her struggles in recent years. In 2019, she married a businessman and became a mother of two sons. However, in December 2023, she bravely spoke out about the abuse she endured in her marriage, sharing photos of injuries and detailing her ex-husband’s mistreatment of her and their children.

Following her divorce, Ahreum found solace in a new relationship with a film writer and expressed a desire to remarry once the legalities were finalized. This news brought relief to fans who were happy to see her find happiness.

She later shocked her by revealing on social media that her husband had not only assaulted her but also abused her children throughout their marriage. On the 25th, after posting a mosaic photo of her face and part of her body full of scars, she said, “This was taken right after I was assaulted by my husband in November 2021.
