What Makes the LMGI Awards Special
The LMGI Awards celebrate the often-overlooked work of location professionals who find and secure filming sites that become essential parts of storytelling. These experts don’t just find pretty places – they discover locations that help tell the story and create the right atmosphere for films and shows.
Last year’s winners included Oppenheimer and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 for films, and Fallout, Fargo, and Ripley for television. The awards also recognized commercial work and film commissions that support productions.
The 2025 ceremony will be produced by IngleDodd Media and Erick Weiss of Honeysweet Creative, with John Rakich (LMGI President) and Nancy Haecker chairing the awards committee. The event brings together location professionals from around the world to celebrate their contributions to filmmaking.
