This is the third reported one since her “scandal.”
Actress Han So Hee has reportedly lost yet another brand endorsement deal recently.
A few months ago, the actress became embroiled in a major public controversy after her romance with actor Ryu Jun Yeol became public. The chaos ensued after the public started assuming that it was a case of “transit love,” and it significantly damaged the reputations of both actors.
The actress faced material fallout as she lost multiple endorsements following the controversy. Though the discourse seems to have subsided now, Han So Hee seems to be still in a tough spot regarding brand deals.
According to media reports on May 23, Hey Dealer, the platform for purchasing used cars, has replaced Han So Hee as their advertising model. She started modeling for the brand in 2022 and caught attention with an ad film she co-starred in with Kim Hye Soo. In March this year, a vlog-style ad that she featured in received an explosive response from viewers, recording over 2.6 million views.
But following her romance “scandal,” Hey Dealer had to deactivate their comment section under the ad film on social media platforms. It is assumed that the scandal is also the reason why they decided not to renew their contract with Han So Hee.
Hey Dealer has reportedly signed Suzy and Lee Jung Eun as their new models, and the two are said to have completed the ad shoot already.
