Hwang In Youp and Hyeri are set to star together for the first time in the upcoming romantic comedy Dream to You. The ENA drama has released new posters and behind-the-scenes photos showing the leads’ on-screen chemistry as a couple, building excitement for its premiere next month.
Dream to You tells the story of Woo Soo Bin (Hwang In Youp), a genius film director who achieves international success, and Joo Yi Jae (Hyeri), a reporter who has lost sight of her own dreams. The two were each other’s first love in high school, and they reunite after 15 years when Soo Bin returns to Korea to keep a promise he made to Yi Jae during their teenage years.
First Collaboration Between Hwang In Youp and Hyeri
This drama marks the first on-screen pairing of Hwang In Youp and Hyeri, and their chemistry is already generating attention online. Hwang In Youp, known for his roles in True Beauty and Family By Choice, plays a film director who swept international film festivals before returning to Korea. Hyeri, a member of Girl’s Day, plays a reporter who once shared Soo Bin’s dream of becoming a film director before reality pulled her in a different direction.
The main poster for the drama shows the two leads in a warm embrace under bright summer sunlight, gazing into each other’s eyes. Behind-the-scenes film photos from the poster shoot were also released, capturing the pair looking lovingly at one another.

What to Expect in ‘Dream to You’
Dream to You is written by Jung Eun Bi, known for her work on acclaimed fantasy romances including Goblin and Doom at Your Service. The drama follows two people who met and fell in love during their late teenage years, only to reunite in their 30s to pursue both their dreams and their love.
The story begins in high school, where Joo Yi Jae inspires Woo Soo Bin with the words, “Let’s make a film together”. Soo Bin, who had been living a life confined to his parents’ expectations, begins dreaming his own dreams after meeting Yi Jae. After achieving those dreams, he returns to Yi Jae, who is now full of regret about the past and worn down by reality.
The first teaser for the drama shows Soo Bin approaching Yi Jae boldly after their reunion, asking, “Do you have a boyfriend?” and continuing to flirt with her despite her attempts to turn him away. In a pivotal moment, he shows her an old film script they wrote together when they were younger, telling her, “I want to make this into a film, but there’s no ending. Let’s do it together.”

Joining Hwang In Youp and Hyeri in the main cast are Baek Sung Chul as Shim Yoo Geon, a minor actor struggling to achieve his dreams, and Lee Yul Eum as Oh Ha Na, a top actress who has lived in the spotlight since birth but has never had a dream of her own.
The drama is produced by ENA and will air as a Monday-Tuesday weekly drama. Two separate posters were released showing the leads in their high school days, wearing school uniforms under the summer sun, and in their present-day thirties.
