Kim Soo Hyun’s return to singing marks a significant milestone, as it’s his first OST recording in ten years. His last musical contribution was for SBS’s drama “My Love From The Star” in February 2014, where he released “If I…” and “Promise” a month later.
Before these, Kim Soo Hyun had participated in many other OST recordings and received praise for his singing skills. Some of these tracks include “Dreaming” from “Dream High” and “Only You, My Love” from “Moon Embracing The Sun”.
The “Queen Of Tears” team confirmed the actor’s participation in the OST recording. In a statement, Kim Soo Hyun expressed his gratitude to the viewers for their love and support. He said, “To repay the viewers for showing so much love, the production team and I worked hard on the preparation. Please check out the broadcast to see which song will appear in which scenes.”

Meanwhile, “Queen Of Tears” is fast approaching its conclusion, with only four episodes left out of 16. The show is well on its way to potentially bag the highest ratings in tvN’s history, catching up fast with the current title holder, “Crash Landing On You”. While the latter’s final episode recorded a 21.7% viewership, the former’s last broadcasted episode (episode 14) recorded a nationwide rating of 20.7%.
This news has certainly stirred excitement among fans who are eagerly waiting to hear Kim Soo Hyun’s melodious voice in the upcoming episodes of “Queen of Tears”. Stay tuned for more updates!
