The tvN workplace romantic comedy continues its Monday-Tuesday run with two new episodes arriving next week. Here is everything you need to know about watching episodes 5 and 6 of the K-drama.
“My Bias, My Boss” has quietly become the strongest performer in its Monday-Tuesday time slot since its premiere on August 3, 2026. The series, based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, follows Nam Da-reum (played by Kim Hye-jun), a devoted fangirl who joins a fashion startup hoping to meet her longtime idol, only to find herself caught between him and her strict CEO.
With four episodes already aired, viewers are now looking forward to episodes 5 and 6, which will continue the love triangle between Da-reum, her boss Kang Ha-gi (Kang Hoon), and her bias Lee Chan (Cha Woo-min).
Episodes 5 and 6 Release Dates and Times
Episode 5 of “My Bias, My Boss” will air on Monday, August 17, 2026, followed by Episode 6 on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
The episodes broadcast at 8:50 p.m. KST on South Korea’s tvN network. Each episode runs for approximately 70 minutes.
For international viewers, here are the broadcast times in different regions:
- India (IST): 5:20 p.m.
- United Kingdom (GMT/UTC): 11:50 a.m.
- US East Coast (ET): 7:50 a.m.
Streaming releases typically follow shortly after the Korean broadcast rather than at the exact same moment, so subtitled episodes usually appear a little later on the same day.
Where to Watch ‘My Bias, My Boss’ Episodes 5-6
International fans have multiple options to stream the series.
Amazon Prime Video carries the series with a subscription. First-time users can take advantage of a free trial. The platform provides audio and subtitles in different languages, including English.
Rakuten Viki also streams the series with subtitles for selected international regions. Viewers need a Viki Pass to access all episodes. Episodes typically arrive a little earlier on Viki than on Prime Video.
In South Korea, the drama is available on tvN, as well as streaming platforms TVING and Wavve. Some regions also offer the show on HBO Max (known as HBO Go in some areas).
What Happened in Episode 4
Episode 4 showed Da-reum receiving a special opportunity with Lee Chan. After successfully keeping her fan identity a secret, Da-reum agreed to Lee Chan’s request to visit his filming location. She went to her idol’s home, enjoyed food he prepared, and even listened to an unreleased song he had written.
The moment took a turn when Yoon Choi (played by ITZY’s Yuna), Lee Chan’s ex-girlfriend, appeared unexpectedly. She told Da-reum that Lee Chan’s treatment of her was just fan service. Da-reum felt embarrassed and left feeling disappointed. Lee Chan could not stop her when he saw her hurt expression.
Meanwhile, Da-reum’s relationship with Ha-gi moved in a different direction. Ha-gi apologised for previously suspecting Da-reum of being an industrial spy.
What to Expect From Episodes 5 and 6
Episodes 5 and 6 will focus on Ha-gi trying to figure out whether Da-reum actually likes him. She randomly touches him and smiles at him, leaving Ha-gi confused and happy at the same time.
The preview for episode 5 shows Ha-gi and Da-reum on a business trip. The trip appears to be just an excuse, as the two will have fun together and it will likely bring them closer.
Lee Chan is also interested in Da-reum and hopes to get closer to her. When he realises that she is spending time with Ha-gi, he may start feeling jealous. Ha-gi is also expected to ask Da-reum how she really feels about him.
The Indonesian outlet Malang Terkini reports that the misunderstanding that occurred previously will actually bring Da-reum and Ha-gi closer together.
The Cast of ‘My Bias, My Boss’
The series features a strong cast of Korean actors.
Kang Hoon plays Kang Ha-gi, the young CEO of the Appello fashion startup. He appears cold and distant on the outside but is actually a caring man who values his employees. He has not dated anyone in years, and now it looks like Ha-gi is falling for a woman while also suspecting her of being a spy.
Kim Hye-jun plays Nam Da-reum, a new marketing team member at Appello. She has been a devoted fan of the boy band DNX, especially the leader Lee Chan, for nearly 12 years. She left her previous job to join Appello because Lee Chan is one of its founders.
Cha Woo-min plays Lee Chan, the former DNX member who stepped into acting after the group disbanded. He co-founded Appello and is a close friend of Ha-gi. When he finds out Da-reum is a devoted fan, he allows her to call him casually and even gives her his phone number.
Shin Yu-na (ITZY’s Yuna) plays Yoon Choi, an actress and Lee Chan’s ex-girlfriend who is expected to create problems between Lee Chan and Da-reum.
Other cast members include Gong Ji-ho as Park Mi-mi, Da-reum’s best friend, and Kim Ah-young as Lee Seul-a, another close friend.
How the Series Is Performing
The drama opened strongly and, after a slight dip in its first week, has climbed back. Episode 1 drew a nationwide average of 4.2%, before Episode 2 slipped to 3.1%. Week two reversed that trend: Episode 3 rose to 3.9% — enough to hold the number one spot in its time slot — and Episode 4 posted 3.6%, the show’s best Tuesday figure so far.
