“The relationship will always be one of the creepiest in K-Pop.”
NewJeans‘ Haerin‘s recent outfit has been blasted because of ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin has always shown a close relationship with the members of NewJeans, and some have found it sometimes too intense, especially when she spoke of the group during her feud with HYBE.
Recently, Haerin was spotted wearing an adorable piece of NewJeans merchandise, which isn’t available to fans. It had the characters of the members created by artist Takashi Murakami.
The characters come from the “Right Now” music video, where the artist reimagined the NewJeans members’ OG “Powerpuff Girl” characters.
Netizens quickly realized that there were six characters on the shirt, rather than five, to represent the members of NewJeans. Many also realized that in the middle of the bottom row, the character was actually meant to represent Min Hee Jin, and she had even posted the character on her Instagram.

She also wore the same shirt previously in a photo she had taken with Hiroshi Fujiwara.
After netizens saw the photo, they shared their discomfort.
While it might seem minor, netizens pointed out how odd it was for a label CEO to be on group merch. Some found comparisons that would be “weird,” such as HYBE’s Bang Si Hyuk on BTS merchandise, and others shared how the “relationship” between NewJeans and Min Hee Jin has always been concerning and too close.
Fans always appreciate supportive CEOs who take care of idols, but netizens think Min Hee Jin is doing too much and is trying to portray herself as another member of NewJeans.
