Where Each Song Appears in the Movie
You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate plays right at the start when viewers first meet Jackie. The track gives the movie a classic 2000s rom-com feeling from the opening scene. Hot Chocolate originally released this song as a B-side, and producer Mickie Most was not sure it would become popular. He put it on the back of the single Blue Night. A few months later, he re-recorded the track and released it as the main single on his RAK label. It became the band’s most famous song.
She Drives Me Crazy by Fine Young Cannibals appears during a montage scene where Jackie and Daniel try to hide their new workplace relationship. The scene shows them secretly texting and sneaking around while trying to keep things professional at the office. This song reached number five on the UK Singles Chart and became the band’s biggest hit. In America, it went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for one week. It was the band’s first chart-topping song, followed by Good Things the next year.
The Look Of Love by ABC plays during a scene where Lopez and Goldstein secretly flirt while managing their demanding work lives. The song originally came out as both a single and a 12-inch remix split into four parts. All four parts were brought together as one long track running 12 minutes and 29 seconds on the ZTT collection The Art of the 12″ Volume Three in February 2014. The lyrics came from lead singer Martin Fry’s experience going through a breakup.

One of the most surprising tracks in the movie is 911 Is A Joke by Public Enemy, performed by Brett Goldstein himself. Goldstein delivers his own version of the classic hip hop track during the film.
