Pan-India star Prabhas has once again become the subject of health concerns after a famous orthopaedic surgeon shared a picture with the actor on social media. The doctor’s post about the “private sacrifices” behind the actor’s success immediately worried his millions of fans, who flooded the comments section with questions and well-wishes.
The actor has a long history of injuries from his physically demanding films, including Baahubali, Saaho, and Salaar. His knee problems have troubled him for years, and he has already undergone two surgeries. A recent injury on set in February 2026 only added to the concerns. Now, the new picture with a doctor has made fans anxious again.
Doctor’s Instagram Post Sparks Concern
Dr. KJ Reddy, a senior orthopaedic surgeon from Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad, posted a picture with Prabhas on his Instagram account. The doctor is a knee, hip, and sports injury expert with over 35 years of experience and has performed more than one lakh surgeries.
In his post, Dr. Reddy wrote about his experience of treating Prabhas. He said:
“Some people inspire you through their success, while others leave a lasting impression through their humility. It has been a pleasure knowing Prabhas and being entrusted with taking care of his health. Despite his immense success, he remains remarkably down-to-earth, warm and gracious. His positive attitude and wonderful nature make him truly special. Wishing him continued success, good health and happiness always.”
On the picture itself, the surgeon wrote: “Inspiration beyond success.” He also added a line that caught everyone’s attention: “Whenever you see a successful person, you only see the public glories, never the private sacrifices to reach them.”
Fans Flood Comments with Health Queries
Within minutes of the post going live, fans rushed to the comments section to ask about the actor’s condition. Many were worried if Prabhas was okay.
One fan asked directly: “Emaindi sir prabhas anna ki (What happened to Prabhas, sir).”
Another fan wrote: “Chudraa ma annaya yentha bonadoo, nuv Ela healthy ga unte maku adhe chalu annaya (Our brother looks good, all we want is for him to be healthy).”
A third fan expressed: “Prabhas anna healthy ga unde chaalu (Prabhas should be healthy, that’s all).”
One fan specifically mentioned the actor’s leg injury: “Nuv healthy ga undi ah leg injury purthiga ga set aypoyi jagrathaga unte adhe chalu annayya naaku (All we want is for you to be healthy and for your leg injury to heal).”
Another fan pleaded with the actor to prioritise his health:
“Please take care of urself first….plz darling … Na Mata vinu taravarta movie lu cheddugani….ippudu nuv rest tisko…….first manam bavunte andaru baguntaru…nuv bagunte ni fans ni entertain cheyochu ardham cheskovayya…..pplllzzzzz (Please listen to me, you can shoot for movies later on. First take rest. If you’re well, everyone will be. If you’re well, only then can you entertain fans. Please understand).”
A fan also commented: “Please take good care of my Rebel, thanks for your efforts, sir.”
Prabhas’ Long History of Knee Problems
The concern from fans is not new. Prabhas has been dealing with knee issues for several years now. The physically demanding role in Baahubali took a major toll on his health, and the knee injuries have troubled him ever since.
He has already undergone two surgeries for his knee problems. In February 2026, reports emerged that he was injured again while shooting for his upcoming film Fauzi. Sources at the time said the injury was minor and that the shooting schedule would not be affected. However, the latest picture with the orthopaedic surgeon has revived all those worries.
Dr. Reddy has also treated several other celebrities, including Ram Charan. His post about Prabhas highlighted the sacrifices that often go unnoticed behind the success of film stars, referring to the injuries and surgeries they endure during their careers.
