BTS member Suga is currently facing severe criticism after being involved in a drunk-driving incident. The situation escalated when jtbc released CCTV footage revealing details of the incident, which contradicted initial statements made by Suga’s company.

CCTV Footage Reveals the Truth About the Vehicle

In the beginning, Suga’s company described the vehicle as an electric kickboard, a small and relatively safe mode of transport. However, the police later confirmed that the vehicle was more accurately described as an electric scooter with a seat, a vehicle larger and more dangerous than initially portrayed.

The CCTV footage released by jtbc clearly showed Suga riding this larger scooter down a busy street filled with cars. The footage left little room for doubt, leading to widespread public disapproval and disappointment.

Public Reaction: Calls for Suga to Leave BTS Grow Louder

In light of this new evidence, many netizens have voiced their strong opinions on the situation. The disappointment is palpable as many feel betrayed by the earlier statements that seemed to downplay the severity of the incident.

“It looks similar to a motorbike. Can’t believe they tried to say it was a kickboard LOL. Just go be a soloist.”

“Suga, leave the group.”

“It wasn’t enough to commit a crime, he even lied about it… Just leave the group. I don’t want to see you any longer. Just know how much of a relief it is that no accident occurred.”

“It’s totally a motorbike.”

“He’s just on the main road too.”

“Isn’t that a motorbike? He’s rich, so why would he ride that home… Just take a taxi.”

“It was all gonna be revealed anyway like this, but he still lied in his statement?”

Accusations of Lying Add Fuel to the Fire

The situation became more complicated when Suga was accused of lying in his initial statement. Not only did he misrepresent the type of vehicle he was driving, but he also allegedly provided false information about the location where he was found fallen. This has only intensified the public’s demand for him to step down from his position in BTS.
